
Biography
Robert Cording has taught at the College for 38 years and is now distinguished as Professor Emeritus. During his time at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½, Cording served as the Barrett Chair of English and Creative Writing. Cording earned his Ph.D., from Boston College and has published six collections of poetry: Life-list, the recipient of the 1987 Ohio State University Press/Journal award; What Binds Us To This World (Copper Beech Press, 1991); Heavy Grace (Alice James, 1996); Against Consolation (CavanKerry Press, 2002); Common Life (CavanKerry Press, 2006); and Walking with Ruskin (CavanKerry, 2010).
